Museum: her Royal Highness princess Euphelma Choden Wangchuck opened the exhibition, 'A tribute to His Majesty Drugyal Zhipa' to the public yesterday at the Royal Academy Textile.
The exhibition showcases some 24 artifacts including namzhas, crowns, photographs and other memorabilia of His Majesty the fourth Druk Gyalpo from the museum's permanent collection and loans from members of the royal family and other individuals.
The exhibition which aspires to honour and celebrate the life of an extraordinary monarch, is organised by the textile museum and is open for visitors six days a a week, from 9am to 4 pm. It will remain closed on Sundays and government holidays.
The entry fee for tourists from third countries is Nu. 250 a person, Nu. 50 for visitors from SAARC countries, Nu. 25 for Bhutanese and Nu. 10 for students.
